Backdated post with Facebook/Twitter updates before I got the blog going. Read from the bottom up:

Started ng feeding tube this afternoon. Baby just wants breastmilk no food, needs more than that to get well. #fb 3:21 PM Jul 31st via mobile web
Not going home today. B'ham still the plan for tomorrow if nothing drastically improves. July 31 at 9:29am
Looks like we are dealing with a nutrition issue at this point. Whatever the diagnosis, her intestines need the right nutrients to heal and stop the diarrhea. Starting food/formula/breastmik should help. Will have to wait to see if the problem is just viral or specific food intolerances. Still very dehydrated, hard to ...draw blood. Still lethargic, more fussy (which could be a good thing.) July 31 at 9:28am
Saw GI doc. Two possibilities: virus or celiac disease. Will do bloodwork to test for CD but will take 3-5 days for results. Has nursed well today, keeping it down, and seeming hungry so will reintroduce foods and give formula. Also somewhat more alert. Thank you so much for praying! Need rest. July 30 at 10:03pm
Today: fever down, more alert, wanting to eat, keeping it down. Still very sleepy, yucky diapers. Hoping to get a consult with a pediatric GI. Doc says if Grace isn't well enough to go home by Sunday, will transfer to Children's in B'ham. July 30 at 1:53pm
Blood work showed low potassium levels. Changed fluids accordingly. Still looks like a virus. Drank more breastmilk and pedialyte today but also threw up and had more yucky diapers. Fever seems better for the most part. Still lethargic. Could be here a few more days, depending on how quickly this thing runs its course. July 29 at 11:25pm
On the 11th attempt of the day, Grace's nurses were finally able to draw blood for her lab work. Praise the Lord! Hoping for positive results and answers from labs. July 29 at 8:50pm
Please pray that Grace will want to nurse and drink pedialyte and that she will keep it all down. They have had a hard time drawing blood this morning, and it has been somewhat traumatic. July 29 at 12:38pm
Grace's fever is down. Still very sleepy. May improve if she starts feeding more. Will likely be here tonight. July 29 at 9:59am
Still at the hospital for tonight. No throwing up today. Has had low grade fever all day but coming down. Pray for no fever and back to normal self. Thanks! July 28 at 8:47pm
Thanks so much for all the prayers! We appreciate them so much and are feeling their effects. Justin and I are fine and so are the boys. Thank you, friends! July 28 at 10:36am
Doctors still think Grace has a virus. Still very lethargic. Won't let her go home until fever free for 24 hrs and back to "herself." July 28 at 10:10am
Doc has ruled out strep, flu, meningitis, etc. Pretty sure it is a virus. Grace is dehydrated and still very lethargic, so they are keeping her at the hospital overnight. Thanks for praying for her! Justin drove over from ATL, and the boys are having fun with GG. July 27 at 5:13pm
At the ER in Montgomery with Grace. Stomach bug since Friday, dehydrated, running some other tests. Would appreciate prayers. Thanks! July 27 at 1:23pm
Really wants Grace to get better! She has had the stomach bug since Friday night, and just when I was starting to think she might be on the mend, she got sick again this afternoon. Ugh. Prayers are appreciated! July 26 at 8:01pm
Wishes Grace didn't have the stomach bug :( July 25 at 5:13pm
